This is the rough version of the new jeaun.com format. New galleries and new forum entries will appear on the front page. You can create new forum threads from the 'Forum' link on the top of the page. You'll have to register before you can post either main topics or replies to topics. Anyone can register and post on the site if they have a valid e-mail address. The style is still a work in progress; I'll be continuing to snazz it up in the near future.

If you notice anything weird, ugly, unpleasant, or stupid, post a reply to this thread, and I'll do my best to take care of it. I've been surprised at the level of control that I've got over how things work with this setup, so go ahead post the suggestion, even if it seems a little ambitious.

Note: I suggest changing any of your links to the site to use just 'jeaun.com' rather than 'www.jeaun.com'. There's a bug with the cookies when you log in on 'www.jeaun.com'. I'm working on fixing it, but it's going to take a while, and I really wanted to get this out.

I ran across this article on Wikipedia. Okay, by "ran across," I mean that I clicked on the RandomWiki link and found it. In any case, it's a description of a counter-intelligence operation by the allies during World War II. It's really amazing that they did things like this back then, when they had basically just invented counter-intelligence. It makes me wonder what kind of crazy shit the CIA and the like are pulling off now, with 60 years of experience behind them.

It also makes me wonder who's corpse they really used, and if their family knew about it. I somehow doubt that they knew about it then, but I wonder if the governments involved ever came clean. "Yeah, well, you know how we told you he was MIA? Actually, we dumped him into the Atlantic with a briefcase chained to his wrist." If you ask me, that's a much better use for a corpse than for a burial or a cremation.
