Russia is developing a new nuclear missile, which "could make the United States' proposed missile-defense system useless."

The missile defense system is useless; that's old news. What I want to know is, why, in the name of Jebus, are people still building nuclear missiles?!!??!

Anybody hear any good news lately?

Slate has a section called dialogues in which they publish an email conversation between experts on both sides of an issue. Unfortunately, they only seem to publish these things every few months. The latest dialogue is about the results of the 1996 welfare reform bill. It started on monday, and they usually update it over the course of about three days. Does anybody know of another site that publishes things like this? I'd love to see a web site that featured this kind of intelligent, responsive debate regularly.

This story tells about how Prince Charles wouldn't go to a wedding because they refused to seat him next to his girlfriend. True, this doesn't sound so strange for you or me or really anybody normal. But come on! He's the heir-apparent for the throne of Jolly Ole. If he were any kind of real monarch, he would've had the families killed, the hall burned to the ground and the guests branded with a picture of his beloved.

Is it just me, or does everyone else agree that Colin should be their next King?
