I fucking HATE resumes. Cover letters are none better. In no way does a resume show what a shining bucket of sunshine I am. I've always had trouble when I have to submit a resume without meeting the person/people.
The T-letter will hopefully change the face of job applications from now on. Much like a better mouse trap, the T-letter is due to make life easier for both sides.
Basically, there's an intro paragraph at the top, then two columns below. One has the qualification the company is looking for, and in the other column, you list your matching skillz. Brilliant!
Plus, at least for a while, you can knock the pants off employers by using this HOT NEW TECHNOLOGY.

I hate cover letters. I hate resumes. I hate CVs. I hate the phrase "polish up the old resume." I hate seeing the words "please send cover letter, references, resume, and writing samples to:" at the bottom of a job description. I hate job descriptions. I hate CareerBuilder. I hate MonsterTrak. I hate looking for jobs. I hate applying for jobs. I hate job interviews. I hate "talking myself up." I hate "making a good first impression." I hate discussing my "strengths and weaknesses." I hate discussing my "work history." I hate "providing references." I hate having a job. I hate the job market. I hate health insurance. I hate income taxes. I hate talking about jobs. I like coffee.

While not a fan of cover letters either. I kinda like resumes.... And from a hiring standpoint they really can help you decide at least who to weed out right off the bat because they cannot communicate correctly.

One of biggest goals (long or short-term) is to never have to...
...deal with any of this for the rest of my life.
The process to me is completely child-like. More than anything I hate providing references too. I guess we do have our judges out there. Makes me fee like a sixth grader at the start of an Algebra test.
